HARRISBURG— The York County Republican delegation to the Pennsylvania General Assembly is proud to announce grant funding from the state’s competitive Local Share Account (LSA) program. Nearly $6.1 million in Pennsylvania gaming revenue has been awarded for projects in York County.

The delegation consists of Sens. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) and Mike Regan (R-York/Cumberland), and Reps. Seth Grove (R-Dover), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover), Dawn Keefer (R-Dillsburg), Mike Jones (R-York Township), Joe D’Orsie (R-Manchester) and Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion).

“These projects vary greatly, but all will improve the lives of current and future York County residents,” the delegation said. “We are glad the Commonwealth Financing Authority recognized the importance of these projects and what they mean to our constituents. It is a privilege to advocate for these investments in the place we call home.”

The York County grants are as follows:
• Scout Camp Tuckahoe rehabilitation project in Franklin Township, $225,000.
• Jewish Community Centre roof renovation project in York Township, $216,750.
• York College of Pennsylvania renovation project in York City, $349,978.
• York County Agricultural Society project to complete a sidewalk in West Manchester Township, $300,000.
• Hanover Trolley Trail Expansion project in Heidelberg Township, $500,000.
• York Area United Fire and Rescue’s Wildland Urban Interface project to purchase new vehicles and equipment, $60,500.
• Manheim Township project to purchase new equipment for use in the municipality, $439,299.
• Windy Hill Park construction project in Shrewsbury Township, $220,000.
• Stewartstown Borough construction project on East Pennsylvania Avenue, $982,632.
• Hayward-Warwick area storm water improvements project in West Manchester Township, $624,828.
• West York Borough to purchase new police and public works vehicles, $150,000.
• Church Lane improvements project in Felton Borough, $106,459.
• Krebs Park improvements project in Glen Rock Borough, $718,699.
• Administrative building meeting room construction project in Hanover Borough, $385,780.
• Large equipment and vehicle purchase project in Heidelberg Township, $131,790.
• Southern York County EMS equipment upgrades in Chanceford Township, $156,682.
• Mower and dump truck purchase in Fairview Township, $200,000.
• Dump truck and plow purchase in Fawn Township, $339,373.

These grants were approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). CFA is an independent agency that holds fiduciary responsibility over the funding of programs and investments in Pennsylvania’s economic growth.
