PA Lawmakers: Numbers Don’t Add Up, Certification of Presidential Results Premature and In Error

HARRISBURG – A group of state lawmakers performing extensive analysis of election data today revealed troubling discrepancies between the numbers of total votes counted and total number of voters who voted in the 2020 General Election, and as a result are questioning how the results of the presidential election could possibly have been certified by Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar and Governor Tom Wolf. These findings are in addition to prior concerns regarding actions by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Secretary, and others impacting the conduct of the election.

HARRISBURG – Members of the York County Republican delegation are questioning the timing and business acumen of Gov. Tom Wolf, who on Thursday announced an effort to address the financial struggles of Pennsylvania’s restaurants, bars and taverns during the COVID-19 pandemic. The governor, who this week vetoed legislation that would have removed certain operating restrictions on the hospitality industry, is pushing to have standard liquor licensing fees waived for the 2021 calendar year.

YORK – A former feed mill in York County, once used as a prop for Gov. Tom Wolf’s severance tax tour, is being torn down despite the absence of a severance tax on Pennsylvania’s natural gas consumers. To date, York County has received nearly $3.5 million dollars, including more than $378,000 it received today, in impact fees from taxes on unconventional gas wells in Pennsylvania despite there not being a well in the county.
